Story

Emerald Coast Woman was founded in 2026 by Nicole Thompson and is proudly published by Saltgrass Publishing. After years in marketing, graphic design, and local, regional, and national publishing, Nicole recognized that the women of Florida's Emerald Coast deserved a publication that told their stories with the same quality and creativity found in major lifestyle magazines.

Built from the ground up, Emerald Coast Woman celebrates the women who make our communities stronger — business owners, mothers, military spouses, educators, artists, healthcare professionals, volunteers, and entrepreneurs alike. We believe compelling stories should be chosen because they matter to our community, not because someone purchased advertising.

Today, we cover communities from Pensacola to Apalachicola, supported by a talented network of writers, photographers, designers, and contributors who share a passion for telling meaningful stories. Welcome to Emerald Coast Woman. We're honored to share these stories with you.
